RESUME OF JUAN SCASSO
Born in San Miguel in 1937. In 1950, he was initiated into drawing and painting by instructor Rubén Rey until 1951, then took lessons with Felipe Balossio, up until 1953, after which he began working at Horacio Bertillier’s studio from 1954 to 1957. In 1955 he learned drawing techniques with master Ivan Vasileff and from 2003 to 2006 with Nora Maldonado, always painting in oils as a landscape artist, including scenes of El Delta, La Patagonia, and San Miguel.
In 2003 he started to use acrylics at Patricia Calvo’s studio, and watercolors with Professor Víctor H. Benthencourt, at the Universidad Nacional de Gral. Sarmiento.
He participated in exhibitions and art galleries, receiving the following mentions:
